Antique Restoration Love the grunge!  When did everything have to be so sparkling clean?  Probably when a bunch of chemical companies decided they needed to sell cleaning products. Patina baby, that is what it is all about. You want your items to go up in value then put away the Lemon pledge! I once had a women stay up late cleaning a copper vase to bring it to an appraisal day.  She cleaned the original patination right off the Gustav Stickley vase and it was worth $3,000 less for her effort! It's dirty and grungy and all scratched up.  All the reasons to love it just the way it is!
